
Code of Conduct
- This is a rain or shine event, refunds will not be given unless the entire event is cancelled
- Valid Monashee Music Festival wristbands and stamps must be worn and visible at all times and are subject to inspection. Any wristbands found to be altered, tampered with, or fraudulent will be removed and the owner will be escorted from the site and charged with criminal fraud. Transferring or copying of wristbands is prohibited and is grounds for ejection from the Festival.
- The RCMP and liquor regulations require that everyone has two pieces of valid ID (1 photo) at all times, even if you have a 19+ wristband.
- BC Liquor Act states intoxicated persons are not permitted to be in licensed areas.
- Underage drinking and/or contributing to a minor is a criminal offense. Police will be involved and violators are subject to ejection, possible arrest, and a lifetime ban from Monashee Music Festival.
- Monashee Music Festival assumes no liability for personal loss, injury, death, property damage, or any other harm suffered by participants, spectators, staff, volunteers, site owners, leasers, or others who may be adversely affected by any event held at Monashee Music Festival.
- Outside food and alcohol are strictly NOT permitted on the Festival grounds.
- With the exception of registered service dogs, NO animals are allowed at Monashee Music Festival. Service dogs must be registered with Guest Services. Guests MUST show British Columbia Guide Dog and Service Dog Certificate/Licence.
- Sales or distribution of any unauthorized or illegal materials is subject to confiscation, ejection, or arrest.
- No glass bottles or glass containers are allowed.
- Smoking is allowed in designated areas ONLY. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the containers provided. DO NOT PUT CIGARETTES ON THE GROUND.
- Due to artist contracts, professional recording equipment will not be permitted without press credentials. Video cameras and cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited inside the festival grounds and are subject to confiscation.
- All patrons entering Monashee Music Festival may have their image or likeness reproduced for promotional and/or other purposes of Monashee Music Festival in photographs, video, and/or drone. By entering the grounds, patrons agree to allow such use of your image and/or likeness without compensation.
Grounds For Ejection
The following actions will result in a WARNING and/or IMMEDIATE EJECTION from the festival:
- Invalid, tampered with, fraudulent or absent wristband or stamp
- Rowdy, lewd or disrespectful behavior
- Sales of any unauthorized or illegal materials
- Possession of fireworks, weapons, or illegal drugs
- Contributing to underage drinking
- Throwing cigarettes on the ground, or smoking in non designated areas
- Public intoxication
- Theft, harm, or injury to other patrons, staff, volunteers, vendors, or artists
- Damage, destruction, vandalism, or theft of any property
- Accessing restricted areas without adequate credentials
We reserve the right to rescind any passes of those who are in violation of the Code of Conduct, or for reasons that jeopardize the safety and security of festival patrons or artists.
We reserve the right to change or update the Code of Conduct and Grounds for Ejection at any time.
